Payment PolicyDeposit of one night’s stay plus tax is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance must be paid at check in and a credit card authorization is required to guarantee incidental charges.

Cancellation PolicyLodging reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. Cancellations outside of the cancel policy will receive a full refund. Cancelling within the cancel policy will result in a full forfeit of the deposit.

Pet PolicyPets are not permitted in any building at Asilomar nor are they permitted to stay or sleep in any vehicle parked on the Asilomar Grounds. Service animals are permitted. Service Animals working at Asilomar must be recognizable as such by wearing an approved vest or harness at all times. Pets are permitted on Asilomar State Beach must be leashed at all times. 

Smoking Policy: Asilomar Conference Grounds is a non-smoking facility. This includes all buildings, public rooms and restrooms. 

Taxes & Fees: All reservations are subject to local, state, and federal taxation.

Rates include:

  • $12.00 Facility Fee
  • $2.00 Tourism Fee

Extra Person Fees: All rates are based on double occupancy. Additional person charges apply for all extra persons age 13 and older.

Telephone and Internet Services: To preserve the retreat atmosphere at Asilomar, there are no telephones in the guest rooms. House phones are located at each building for in-house calls, and public telephones are located throughout the grounds and in the Phoebe A. Hearst Social Hall. Cell phones work in the area. Free wireless Internet access is available in all guest rooms and the Social Hall. Ask the Front Desk for username and password.

Parking: Complimentary guest parking is available. 

Cribs: Cribs are available upon request FREE of charge however they are NOT Allowed in Historic Rooms
